It's festival time in Santa Eulalia in February and the town hall have just released their programme of activities for the period which are aimed predominantly at the local Spanish and Catalan speaking population. There are films, theatre, exhibitions, discussions and lots of sports – tennis, sailing, basketball, clay pigeon shooting, hiking, cycling, swimming and running to name just a sample.
This year the council will not be using a marquee to hold the main events, which will now take place in different places in the town, though there is a plan B to shift any of the outdoor events should the weather be inclement.
I've picked out the best of the fiesta which would appeal to an international audience and tourists to the island.
