Just in case anyone didn’t already know, there’s only a few shopping days left until Christmas, and those thoughtful people at the Las Dalias market in San Carlos have opened their doors for the annual Christmas Market.
Open from five until midnight every day, the market will not only give us all an opportunity to get rid of most of our spare cash on presents, but also this year a new feature will show us how Christmas is celebrated in other parts of the world.
In other parts of the island the Christmas decorations have been switched on, the market in the Vara de Rey is in full swing, the art supermarket nearby is open and features a special section of paintings done by the prisoners in Ibiza jail, and San Antonio has a giant marquee erected in the fountains square for its programme of entertainment. So watch this space for details.
