Things to do this month on Ibiza - November 2018

Our choice picks for the month.

It's always a good time to come to Ibiza and this month, there's a wealth of experiences for you to try out from simply chilling out at a beach club, to spending a day in Formentera to getting into music across the spectrum - plus Pacha is back for winter too. Food lovers - this is your month: two of the best annual restaurant events are in full swing and calamari fans should check out the San Carlos fiestas and head over.


Still time for the beach clubs

All month long

Whilst summer may seem to be over, there's still time for chilled dining next to the sea with a number of beach clubs still open. Catch them if you can: Atzaro Chringuito in Cala Nova opens till the 3rd with a closing fiesta and right now it's closing week at Tropicana Ibiza in Cala Jondal ending on the 4th. El Chringuito de Cala Gracioneta opens till the 30th and for a proper winter fix, the sumptuous Nassau Beach Club in Playa d'en Bossa is open all the way to 12 January next year. Yee haa!


Formentera days

All month long

Ibiza's pretty sister island is simply beautiful and in winter, you can see it in all its splendour without the crowds. Aquabus Ferry Boats is offering a great value day from Tuesdays to Fridays, taking you around the island to see its capital San Francisco, the famous La Mola lighthouse and the resort of Es Pujols. A paella lunch is included in the price too. What are you waiting for?


Local produce in multiple meal expressions

All month long

This month really is the month to try some seasonal meals for less all across the island. First up, there's Ibiza Sabor running all the way through to 2 December with 41 different restaurants offering three-course meals and tapas all across Ibiza. At the same time, it's time for Restaurat in San Antonio (on until 9 December) with 21 restaurants taking part. Both events showcase local products and are a great way to discover the island's food offerings.


Move around the island

All month long

Going off road, seeing Ibiza's lush verdant nature, spectacular coastal views, past almond and olive trees, orange and lemon groves - even via ancient Moorish irrigation channels. Yes, you can get up close and personal with E Move's quad and buggy tours all through November. Nature has never been so appealing.


Fiesta time in San Carlos

1-24 November

There's still time to dip into these festivities. Highlights include the Calamari Festival on the 3rd with seafood locally caught and presented in a variety of ways. Later, from 20:00 there's a performance by well-known Ibiza rock band Wind Rose and famous Spanish group Los Rebeldes for rocking ‘80s style. The next day on he 4th (the main day) there's an antique vehicle display and gypsy dance group after midday and a variety show just before 21:00. Folk music of Andalusia

2-4 November

Three days of folk music at the Cas Serres cultural centre near to Figueretas awaits you in the second edition of this new annual event. This year the music of Andalusia takes centre stage with performances by La Banda Morisca, Quentin Gas and Captain Cobarde. All concerts begin late evening and tickets can be purchased direct from the island council for just €8 with a nice discount of almost 50% when you buy two. Fab!


Mozart for tolerance

4 November

A free one-hour concert at midday at the Recinto Ferial (Ibiza's fairground) featuring the work of Mozart will mark one of Ibiza's contributions for International Tolerance Day later in the month. There's space for up to 1,000 people so head on over and hear this musical collaboration of the Ibiza Soul Baroque orchestra, the Valencian Chamber Choir and the Eivissa Petit Choir along with four soloists.


Ethereal at Nagai Ibiza

4 November

Blending music and art, Ethereal keeps it going at Nagai Ibiza from 14:00 until late. A monthly event with dreamy music and original art exhibitions. Medusa Odyssey, DOUBLE M, Mialody, Gustin, Maricha and Edoardo Marvaso will be taking you on a sonic ride with cool artistic creations on display. If you're hungry, then known that the venue, winner of the World Luxury Restaurants' Award for two years in a row, will feature its ultra-popular Japan Food Truck. Plus there's a Kids Corner too.


game over presents lift

10 November

After one winter without Pacha, we are thrilled to see the venue back open year-round once again. On 10 November it's the second of three GAME OVER Presents LiFT dates. The brainchild of the team behind Carl Cox at Space Ibiza, GAME OVER will showcase some of the finest international and local underground artists. Taking over Room 2, Apollonia member and DC10 resident Dyed Soundorom will be on the decks, as well as Adam Chapell and Isbel.


Motor on

16-18 November

If you are a car nut, then you won't want to miss the second Ibiza Motorshow at the FECOEV convention centre. Go and test drive a meaty Mercedes, try out extreme driving simulators and just loll out your tongue at the gorgeous autos on display. There's also live music to keep your spirits high and food trucks to keep hunger at bay. What's not to like? Full details are still being decided, so watch this space.
