The time has come for Restaurat 2016: the eighth annual gastronomic festival is now on until 11 December 2016 with set price meal deals in 20 participating restaurants in and around San Antonio. This year's featured local product is pumpkin, which you'll find creatively transformed into succulent dishes from starters to mains and desserts.
From Monday to Thursday during Restaurat, you can get a delicious, seasonal three-course meal for €15 in all the restaurants taking part. This rises to €18 Friday to Sunday inclusive and on Spanish national holiday days. Either way, we're sure you'll agree that you are getting a sweet deal.
The festival, coming just after the summer season, is the perfect way to warm up and get your fill at reasonable prices. Of the many menu items made with pumpkin, you'll find an exciting array of dishes with plates like duck breast with orange pumpkin puree, a pumpkin lasagna, pumpkin flower soup and pumpkin creme brûlée. You can even get pumpkin flavoured cocktails.
Restaurants participating this year include Hostal de la Torre, Villa Manchega, Rio Ibiza, Tijuana Tex-Mex, El Reencuentro and The Skinny Kitchen. Do note that some places do not offer the menus on certain days of the week, so do check which day your chosen restaurant is taking part.
