With a whole host of picture-perfect places to grab coffee dotted about, there are no shortage of options when it comes to getting your caffeine fix in Ibiza. On this island, the roasted bean is taken just as seriously as partying - it's as ingrained in Spanish life as say paella, or taking a mid-afternoon siesta - so there are some standout spots that really excel in serving up the good stuff. Take a second out from whizzing around the White Isle to savour some of its finest aromatic blends and get that all-important caffeine kick at the same time.
Cappuccino
This restaurant is a favourite with the international jet-set, thanks largely to its prime position amid all the super yachts in Marina Botafoch. It also boasts unrivalled views over the waters to Dalt Vila and Ibiza Town, making it the ideal stop-off for coffee with a view. Get there early enough in the morning and you'll have front row seats of the sun as it rises over the horizon.
Zaibiza
Take a leisurely stroll to the far end of Talamanca and you'll be in for a treat, because at Zaibiza they whip up one of the finest soya milk cappuccinos on the island, and it's usually served with a complementary, sweet-as-you-like snack. Pull up a pew on the higgledy-piggledy terrace, gaze out at the sparkling Med and wait for the caffeine high to power you back along the boulevard.
Rita's Cantina
A San Antonio institution in its own right, Rita's Cantina is packed full of in-the-know locals every day of the week. It's particularly famed for its hearty breakfasts and healthy juices, but it's also great place to make a pit stop for coffee. Its prime position on the Marina makes it ideal for watching boats bobbing in the breeze.
Montesol
The first ever hotel on the island, Hotel Gran Montesol is steeped in history, and has recently undergone a stylish refurbishment that's rewound the clock back to its glory years. The best thing about this place is its location in the heart of Ibiza Town - if you like coffee with a heavy side of people watching, then this is the place to do it.
Heladeria Artesenal Venezia
Somewhat of a well-kept secret, you'll find this brightly coloured Italian eatery in the small town of Sant Jordi. If you're stopping by for coffee, you may as well try one of their outrageously delicious homemade cakes and pastries while at it. And don't forget to grab an ice cream before you go - it'll be the creamiest cone of goodness you've ever tasted.
Passion
You'll find a Passion Café in every corner of the island - there's one in Playa d'en Bossa; Santa Eulalia, Marina Botafoch and also one in San Jose. They specialise in healthy, tasty plates of food, so this is one for the fitness fans to seek out. It's also one of the only places on the island where you can get coffees made with coconut milk - ideal for those who've ditched the dairy.
Canadian
This place has earned a reputation for serving up the best coffee in Ibiza - quite the claim, but rightly so - apparently it even has the Pete Tong seal of approval. At this Jesus favourite, you'll find the smoothest blends in large servings that you might not have come to expect in Spain. Big cups equal good value for money, and lots of ammunition to get you out of bed in the morning.
Es Tap Nou
This little café in Ibiza Town is always swarming with happy visitors. They have a great range in healthy salads, juices and bocadillos, and the central location makes it ideal for taking a breather in the midst of a holiday shopping frenzy. Don't be surprised if you find yourself back at this place on a daily basis - it's addictive.
Hostal Parque
Another Ibiza Town gem, this time in the buzzing square of Plaza del Parque - a leafy green courtyard that's lined with all manner of bars and restaurants. Hostal Parque remains the most famous of them all, however, and is a great place to head with a book under your arm and an afternoon spread out in front of you.
Bar Costa
Situated in the centre of Ibiza's bohemian heartland, Santa Gertrudis, Bar Costa is a restaurant with artistic roots that stretch back for years. Take a seat outside on the square towards the end of the day and enjoy a warming coffee as dusk begins to settle - the silhouette of the overlooking church will blow you away.
