San Antonio sprints ahead

Three races, one town.

If you've brought your running shoes or are about to come to Ibiza and a big sprint takes your fancy, then join in on the Popular Race (Cursa Popular) in San Antonio this Saturday 6 February. The course of the three races included in the event is to be found here. You can go along to watch, cheer on your mates or significant other and be part if one of San Antonio's festival sporting events, to mark the annual celebration of its Patron Saint.

If you want to register, you need to go to the Ibiza BTT website and do it online. You have till this Friday 5 February to do so and you'll get a free event promotional t-shirt to wear in the race or keep as a souvenir. The race happens every year and attracts particpants from across Ibiza taking part, so why not join in yourself.

It's an event for people of all fitness levels to take part in with even a fun run for the kids starting at 3pm from the old church of San Antonio. There are two further races: a 10km one starting at the church at 4pm and a 5km one starting at 4.30pm at Can Tomas bar on Calle Ample.

The 3pm promotional race is free with a charge for the other two lengthier races, with the money going to charity. See below for timings and prices.
