We like our food in Ibiza. We like eating it, talking about it, and learning how to cook it! So much so that yet again we've got our very own 'Gastronomy Week' in town where we can do all these things at the same time.
The third annual food bash takes place next week 11th to 17th in various venues where there will be courses and round table discussions on Ibicenco and world cuisine.
Perhaps of more interest will be the actual sampling
of the food! The Vara de Rey is the venue on Saturday and Sunday from 12.00 when the public are invited to sample a range of tapas for only €1 each.
If this wasn't enough then foodies will be approaching a state of ecstasy to hear that 13 restaurants are putting on special menus to celebrate the occasion.
Ranging from under €10 to over €40 you can take your choice from Ke Kafé, Can Alfredo, Bistro Menú, El Hall, El Cigarral, Delicatessan San Martín, Le Relais, Jap, Civet, Rincón del
Puerto, S'Ametller, Antonio and Abadía.
