It’s August in only a couple of days and here in Ibiza that means everything gets turned up a notch – more people, hotter weather and some fantastic clubbing options.
Armada this week sees the return of dance icon, Paul Oakenfold (right), who despite his recent critics is still capable of drawing in the crowd.
‘Oakey’ will be joined by Markus Schulz – but no Armin van Buuren - on Tuesday 31 July at Amnesia.
Another trance legend also visits Amnesia this week, as Paul van Dyk – along with Marco V – sets another Cream night on fire, on Thursday 2 August.
Expect it to be busy, but expect to have an amazing time. Annie Mac (pictured below) and Touché return to the terrace to provide a storming house/electro alternative.
This week we’ll also be sending our birthday wishes to a certain Carl Cox, who turned 45 this week and will be celebrating on Tuesday 31 July at Space.
Gilles Peterson and John Digweed will also be there for what promises to be an unbeatable party. And if that isn’t enough - next week at Carl Cox, Detroit techno pioneer, Derrick May, is in town !
Ibiza Rocks has been solid as usual with some fine live performances to remember – Mark Ronson
last week was awesome. Tuesday 31 July sees The Enemy turning up to Bar M for their Ibiza Rocks debut.
A trip to Ibiza wouldn’t be the same without checking out the incredible event that is Manumission at Privilege – so why don’t you do just that on Friday 3
August. Enjoy the brilliant show, amazing club, great music – and sexy Manumission girls !
Howard Donald (above) hits El Divino on Tuesday 31 July to lay on the tunes for Kissdafunk, alongside Rob Tissera and Filthy Rich. Having earned a
reputation for his sound dj’ing skills – this should be one fun-filled party.
Looking ahead to next Monday but still at El Divino, the Milk’n’2 Sugars crew will be featuring
the rising star that is Fedde le Grand, who alongside Seamus
Haji, will be holding the perfect party to get over the weekend blues.
Of course, the weekend blues can be avoided if you make it to Space on Sunday 5
August for our favourite party of the week - We Love Space.
This week another star-studded line-up is provided, featuring super-star David Guetta (right), techno pioneer Carl Craig, Tiefschwarz and
Nic Fanciulli.
If that wasn’t enough to get you all excited – then take a look ahead at We Love Sunday on 12
August.
Now if that really doesn’t get you excited, we’re calling the men in white suits !
