Our message boards are the best on the world wide web for Ibiza party information. Newbies and oldbies, teetotallers and the partyharders, big time Space djs and iPod jockeys, we got 'em all.
Our combined wisdom has many practical applications. Take for example this discussion on Free Parties in 2006. We love the clubs in Ibiza and believe the events listed complement the entertainment program offered in the macro discos. Here we've collated everything we know about more underground parties with no entrance fee.
Bora Bora, Playa d'en Bossa
It's clothes and not the music that's minimal at Bora Bora. You're likely to hear crowd-pleasing house and techno played by the experienced resident quartet of Will Johnston, Alex Miles, Gordon Edge and Oliver Lang.
Open every day.
Everyone's favourite gangster rapper Funky shows photos of his wife in Romanian Playboy - June 2006
Bora Bora - June 2006
Thrift tip - you can get jugs of sangria for €20
Underground, San Rafael
The entertainent program at the impressively swish central island venue is currently in crisis. Mr C's Superfreq night is not on, Tim Sheridan's Very Very Wrong Indeed's Monday nighter finished before it even properly started, and other djs have left in protest at the treatment of promotions manager Lewis Digby.

Thift tip - pull out of the car park very slowly and avoid a costly accident
Blue Marlin, Cala Jondal
Visitors to Blue Marlin enjoy a gorgeous setting on Ibiza's south coast. The well-appointed bars and lounging arrangements including sun and normal beds make for a perfect environment for horizontal music appreciation and after night falls maybe even a little vertical action. Live bands and low profile dj events are scheduled throughout the summer.

Thrift tip - check out new German guys Wonderland's free event this Friday, July 28
SecretSundaze @ various locations
SecretSundaze @ Benimussa - July 15, 2006
Not strictly free as the London-based crew charged a tenner in at their opening party at
Benimussa last Saturday but they know so many people that it's unlikely more than a handful paid. The softly-softly promotional approach meant it was a hundred
people shy of a properly kicking gig but if everybody knew it wouldn't be much of a secret now would it?
Thift tip - hitchhiking saves petrol money and provides opportunities to bond with fellow ravers
Soundport @ Sunset Ashram, Cala Comte
Soundport @ Sunset Ashram - July 15, 2006
Phillips, Fiorito & Peters @ Soundport - July 15, 2006
Location-wise this pisses all over anything San Antonio can offer. The sunset is typically drawdroppingly beautiful
and Alfredo, Jaime (above) and friends have the musical resources to match the scenery.
Soundport is on every second and fourth Saturday of the month.
Thift tip - If you like Indian you're in luck - check out the cheap and tasty menu.
Km5, Carrer de San Josep
The restaurant and bar prices are medium to high as you're paying for the classy decor and the wages of those charged with creating the extremely pleasant ambience. There's even a little dance floor inside.
Thrift tip - drink spirits as Spanish pours are very generous
Nude @ an as yet undetermined location
Top dj Smokin' Jo and Terry Hart's Nude concept has developed a high profile from appearances at
super clubs Space here in Ibiza and Ministry of Sound in London.
"The beach is gonna be the same kind of set up as the night events," Jo told the Space site (www.space-ibiza.es) recently. "But being in the
day we're gonna have some live bands, we've got 2020 Vision, Ralph Lawson and some PAs, very daytime kind of thing
and then later on it will go into some banging music."
Dates: August 7, 19 and 28.
Thirft tip - Stop shopping, go nude!
L'Elephant, San Rafael
L'Elephant 2006
Fresh air and a fantastic vantage point await attendees of L'Elephant's nightly soirees. A selection of top local djs spin.
Investment tip - go to the nearby church San Rafael on Sunday and drop a little dinero into the collection plate. Hopefully the donation may persuade the local minister not to complain to the police next time it gets a bit loud. The sound system was sealed for days last time.
