The Marine Rescue service has a new rescue launch. The Urano can travel at 40 knots and can reach Es Vedra from San Antonio in under 15 minutes thanks to its 200 horse power engines. It's also equipped with all the latest equipment.
The restaurant Es Tancó in San Rafael has won the prize for best façade of a building given by the San Antonio town council. The restaurant occupies a typical country house in the centre of the village which has been sympathetically restored in keeping with tradition.
