Over 2000 people turned up at an Ibiza sports centre to hear somebody whistle 'Sweet Georgia Brown!' And as an added bonus the world's famous supreme team The Harlem Globetrotters were also there to give a superb demonstration of their ball control, dribbling and slam-dunking techniques.
The crowd were treated to the comedy antics of the Trotters' mascot, Globie, as a warm up before the team themselves took to the stage, sorry, the court. They had of course brought along a team of rank outsiders, the well-known New York Nationals, to provide the opposition, who were duly despatched by 91 - 57. Everyone went home happily, as basketball is definitely the second most popular sport in Spain after football.
