The ancient citadel of Ibiza will travel back in time to merrie olde medieval days on the weekend of 7th to 9th of May.
As usual the town's Medieval Festival will take place in the old walled city where visitors will be able to see everything that was nice about the dark ages; strolling minstrels, craftsmen and artisans going about their creative business, medieval dancers, and new for this year, a mock battle between forces attacking the town's fortifications and its defenders.
Last year over 130,000 people joined in the fun in what proved to be a trouble free time for the special medieval police force, as not a single person was convicted of witchcraft during the entire 3 days.
