We've mentioned it before, but GB airways will be starting its new route from London to Ibiza on 21st May. Initially the service will be daily from Wednesday to Sunday and will run until October, from whence a less frequent timetable will apply right through the winter.
GB airways say tickets will cost €120 but have been selling them at €80 as a special opening promotional offer and have cleared 1000 seats in just 3 days.
The service has partially been made possible by the island's tourist authority's contribution of €120,000 towards a promotional campaign in Britain.
