Just when the authorities defeat one space invasion another one starts on the other flank. World famous discotheque Space has recently had its plans to open a second branch in San Antonio thwarted, but news has just come in that a 3-year-old scheme to open Baby Space in Ibiza town has been revitalised.
The new Island Government has pronounced that all the paperwork required to open the new nitery by the port is in order. The 600 capacity 'club' provisionally called 'Noche Viva' failed in its efforts last time because of a problem with the urinals but now this has been solved all systems are legally go!
Needless to say, the neighbours from the apartments above are somewhat less than ecstatic about having Space in the building, after all, they already have Burger King, and their lack of enthusiasm is shared by Ibiza Mayor, Enric Tarres. Expect this story to run, and run.
