Have you ever wondered why Spain is often referred to as the land of mañana? Here's an instance why.
As far back as July we reported in these columns the intention of ferry company Balearia to run a high-speed four-hour service from San Antonio to Barcelona.
For months now the start date of 20th January has been set the timetables have been prepared and on-line bookings have been available. Two days before the projected start of the service Balearia announced that the Federico Garcia Lorca, the super fast ferry chosen to cover the route was in fact having its annual service and would not commence operations until 15th February.
Oddly enough we're not the slightest bit surprised at this delay.
