However, the circuits which control the action of the pumps in the plant which
converts salty seawater to drinking water, were damaged and will take at least
6 weeks to repair. This means that the good citizens of San Antonio and the surrounding
areas served by the desalination plant will be back to using well water which
to say the least, is a little bit salty.
