Police have called time on the activities of the so-called Rolex Mob, who specialised in stealing luxury timepieces from unsuspecting tourists, with the arrest of four young Italians with links to the Neapolitan Camorra.
The police had been on special watch since July when the gang arrived on Ibiza after committing similar crimes on mainland Spain. The whereabouts of the gang was revealed after one of their victims clocked the numberplate of a motorbike they were using to make a swift getaway.
The police arrived at their Figueretes hideaway just in the nick of time and now the gang are doing time in the nick! (and not a minute too soon! Ed)
