Tidal Wave

Bathers on the beaches of San Antonio were taken by surprise last Sunday when a giant wave swept across the sands and washed away their personal possessions such as towels, mobile phones, purses, and diving goggles.

On the normally calm Mediterranean waters a giant wave is quite extraordinary and those affected are blaming it on the presence of Balearia's super fast ferry the 'Al Sabini' which made a special trip to San Antonio last Sunday to meet the extra demand.

They say it was going too fast as it left port and so created the destructive wave. It will be back again next Sunday so watch out sunbathers.
