The beautiful old church of San Antonio has a new sculpture of the Virgin of the Abandoned.
Commissioned by the Roca family as a gift to both San Antonio and the many members of the Valencian community on the island, the statue was sculpted by a Valencian artist, Rafael Orellana.
In a benediction ceremony presided over by the Bishop of Ibiza, the statue was blessed, and a concert of classical works given by the English soprano, Charlotte Lock.
