A group of students from Toledo in central Spain are currently visiting Ibiza as part of an exchange scheme for young people from the World Heritage cities in this country.
After a lung-bursting hike up to the ramparts of the old town they were left wondering if there wasn't an easier way to the top. Why? Because their home town, which has similarly steep defensive walls, has thoughtfully provided escalators all the way to the summit for the ease of its visitors.
