Ibiza is to celebrate its status as a World Heritage City by having 110 specially designed litter bins placed strategically around the Dalt Vila, Marina, Plaza del Parque, and Vara de Rey, areas of the city. The bins will have a hole at the top to put the rubbish in, and one at the bottom, for council operatives to collect it. Supposedly vandal proof, and at a cost of only €85,000, the bins will all be installed within 2 months of the supply contract being signed!
