During past seasons, Apollonia had often walked away taking the plaudits with regular guest appearances for Music On and HYTE in addition to their outings at DC10. Eagle-eyed observers had commented how their Ibiza schedule seemed lite in 2019, by comparison.
Now the reason has become clear. Following a packed-out takeover for Unusual Suspects at the former Sankeys last summer, Apollonia returns to Playa d'en Bossa. Only this time they've bagged their own residency - Planet Claire.
The French three-piece takeover Ibiza's newest club, Octan, for ten consecutive Sundays starting 28 July. Looking after The Lab room, the trio shares the slots with Steve Lawler's returning Warriors party on four dates before continuing from 25 August to end of September.
Renowned for their mesmerising back-to-back-to-back marathons, Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundorom and Shonky have programmed an impeccable concept. The run is set to include three of their fabled all-night-long journeys, while a bunch of talented acquaintances are also scheduled to appear.
Long touted as holding their own residency, it seems the stars finally aligned for this highly popular collective with the emergence of Octan from the ashes of Sankeys.
Every Sunday during the run, you can expect the house music trilogy to dig deep into the vaults of the past, present and future. Other than that, the theme behind Planet Claire has an air of mystery. The only way to be sure is to get down and see for yourself.
