Full and final details of International Music Summit (IMS) are now out in the public domain. The forum for business, culture and education in our industry, IMS aims to inspire, motivate and challenge stakeholders from the record labels down to the consumer.
Central to this year's debate will be the issue of mental health amongst musicians and within our industry as a whole. IMS co-founder Ben Turner asks rhetorically, “Has our industry done enough since the death of Avicii?” with Keith Flint's recent passing still raw.
Panellists tackling this year's topic include another conference co-founder, Pete Tong, Luciano, Professor Green and Avicii's father, Klas Bergling. In addition, attendees will hear feedback from Remedy State's inaugural ARETÉ retreat.
Another key debate will centre around the direction club culture is heading. Resident Advisor will chair the session. Representatives from the UK and Germany nightlife sectors, artist management, agents, media outlets, radio hosts and even the artists themselves all contribute.
2019 guest curators shesaid.so provide heavy input for the next topic: Intersectionality. Newly announced Skaunk Anasie singer, Skin, is on the panel. Other themes that will be explored are Cocoon20, bye-bye to plastic, industry innovators and sobriety.
Names included in the final phase of speakers are elrow's Juan Arnau Jr, Loco Dice, Mark Netto, Paradise's Nick Yates, Paco Osuna, and Time Warp's Steffen Charles amongst many more.
Keynote interviews will be conducted with Charlotte de Witte, Joseph Capriati and Zane Lowe.

After three days of emotional and constructive talks, it will be time to let our hair down and indulge in some dancing. The Grand Finale in Dalt Vila marks the end of IMS and the start of the season proper.
