Some pleasant words there from the Cadenza family. Pacha welcomes back Luciano and his vagabundos for another fine season of Sunday parties with the aim of showcasing the Cadenza sound with help from some of the labels friends. With an extended season this year, Pacha's Sunday party will go on for 19 dates from 27th May to 7th October.
As usual, expect the finest artists in house and techno, exclusive guests from around the world, and the most chaotic carnival atmosphere on the island, filled with a slightly different crowd from the Pacha usual - eyeliner and top hats aplenty. Luciano plays most dates, missing only 2 over the course of the season, whilst we are sure he will take full advantage of the newly installed hydraulic DJ booth (located in place of the bar to the left of the main stairs as you enter main club space). On the subject of club changes, the stage area in front of the main stairs can now be fully lowered to new (slightly lower) dance floor meaning the space has really opened up and feels like a much larger space. Couple that with the new soundsystem with speaker stacks either side of the aforementioned DJ booth and the Vagabundos parties are all set to go off this season.
There are some great events with some standout performers such as Carl Craig (8th July), Kenny Larkin (3rd June), Marshall Jefferson (22nd July), DJ Sneak (19th August), Stacey Pullen (16th September) and Robert Hood (30th September). With some cool live performances and back to back sessions mixing things up a little, and many of the Cadenza family favourites (Reboot, Robert Dietz, Michel Cleis, etc) are present.
