After a superb 2011 for Crosstown Rebels, they are now proud to present their next album, Amirali ‘In Time'. Tipped as a one to watch for 2012 (Mixmag), Iranian/Canadian producer Amirali's debut album is truly exceptional, a subtle combination of house, techno, funk, electronica and downbeat with indie sensibilities. The album is reminiscent of Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Underworld and Art Department all through a modern electronic paradigm. Amirali features on vocals on the album and is already being widely, regarded as one of the most accomplished debut albums of recent years.
His recent single ‘Beautiful World' (featuring remixes from Deniz Kurtel, Daniel Bortz & Hrdvsion) was met with rapturous appeal gaining an ever-increasing legion of fans. ‘In Time' is a fantastic body of work, from the hit singles ‘My Way', 'Beautiful World' and ‘Just An Illusion' to the down tempo ‘Painting On A Canvas' and ‘Last Words', the album is full of beautiful sonic vignettes. Other highlights include the broken beat ‘Whisper', the infectious ‘Hear Me' and the mammoth ‘Sounds Of My Life'. ‘Just An Illusion' will be released shortly after the album featuring MK, Franck Roger and Appleblim remixes.
