The GET TESTED! campaign encourages people to get tested for Hepatitis C who may not think they have been at risk. In little over a year GET TESTED! have gained support from celebrities such as Sadie Frost, Bella Freud, Ed Simons, Zoe Ball, Boy George, Matt Horne, Jimi Mistry and Alan McGee to name but a few. Even ex London Mayor Ken Livingstone has been seen at one of their testing buses, getting tested for Hepatitis C.
This year GET TESTED! are hosting a spectacular fundraising party at the Ibiza Gran Hotel. We will be in the newly opened Gee Bar that has exceptional views over the Mediterranean Sea and the famous Dalt Vila. As part of the International Music Summit evening we have secured some outstanding auction and raffle prizes which include a one off original signed painting by Inkie, one of the UK's leading street artists and identified as a Banksy collaborator. Also up for grabs is a one off signed painting produced especially for the event by leading Dutch artist RaRa Superstar along with spa days at London's top Spa, The Sanctuary, Jewellery from a high-end Mayfair jewellers, festival passes, a home catered dinner party, restaurant meals, a wine tasting at Ibiza's Ibizkus vineyarda and a pair of British Airways' New route London City-Ibiza tickets.
The night will be compared by DJ's Emma B and invited to the event amongst others Mark Ronson, Pete Tong, David Guetta, Erick Morillo, Tina Cutler, Lisa B and Sadie Frost.
Events such as this are vital in raising awareness in a climate where levels of awareness remain dangerously low, leaving all those still undiagnosed at risk of developing potentially fatal liver disease as well as unwittingly infecting others.
