If there was ever a party that was worth travelling to get involved with, then it has to be the Space opening party – this year on Sunday 1 June.
Despite other clubs opening up before Space this year, it is still considered the starting point for the clubbing season here in Ibiza. No other party carries as much enthusiasm and excitement as this one, and the expectations are always sky high. Fortunately, people seldom leave disappointed.
So what makes this party so important to the Ibiza party calendar and why do you have to go ?
Well, firstly ... this is Space - a club that is regularly voted one of the best clubs in the world. So it is easy to understand why everyone is excited at the prospect of putting on their dance shoes and making some shapes on the dance floor once again.
Even with seven seperate music areas to choose from, you can´t go wrong ... but, and this is the second reason you can´t miss this party, for the Space opening it gets better.
Each year for the opening and closing of Space, the car park is opened up, an impressive stage built and voila ... a huge outdoor arena where you can rave on under the sun.
Nothing beats partying under the sun, except maybe partying under the stars – you can do both at this party.
Of course, every good party needs to have good music. Well, our third reason for not missing this fiesta is simple.
