After the Carl Cox closing party on Tuesday 9 September, there was a huge gap in the Space party calendar and after another amazing season for Cox & Friends, it was going to take something special to be noticed.
Fortunately the guys at Space know how to put on a good party and haven´t disappointed us with a couple of very good looking, one-off events to end the summer on a high.
First off, on Tuesday 16 September, it´s a SpinClub special. Up to last year, SpinClub was a regular party hosted here in Ibiza by Chris Liebing (above). The party didn´t return this summer but is back for a great looking event next week.
With the discoteca featuring Chris Liebing himself, plus Radio Slave, Benny Rodriguez and James Kameran it promises to be a decent night of tech-house music.
But pop your head into the terrace and you´ll find yourself raving away to Sasha and Elio Riso.
A really good line-up for what should be a great party !
However, the following Tuesday 23 September provides as good as, if not stronger an event as the legendary Laurent Garnier is back in town for another special.
After a couple of storming and exclusive sets for Carl Cox and We Love Space this summer, Garnier (below) is back on Tuesday for another double set special, which is one party that we´re not going to miss !
Inside the discoteca, he will be joined by Yousef (below) and Scan X (live) for some dark and deep tunes.
Once he´s done in there, he´ll be making his way over to the terrace for a second set – probably a little lighter but still tough enough for the Space crowd – where he´ll be joined by Jon Rundell plus a very special guest, expected to be Pendulum.
Catching Garnier for a double setter is not something to miss ... so we don´t intend to be anywhere else on either of these two nights !
