Another sunday, another roundup and with a throng of new residencies thrown into the mix, we've been furiously rubbing our thighs in anticipation of the beast season that's headed our way. Give this a read and see if you can refrain from touching yourself inappropriately. We doubt it.
Eden announces opening party date
The San Antonio superclub is all set and ready to wave in a crowd of new and regular faces on Wednesday 24 May. Reawkening in the mid-week slot, we'll no doubt see a mega line-up with a mix of genres heard within its walls, and from there, we've got a very exciting, fresh season to dig our claws into.
Unusual Suspects drops opening party line-up
Sankeys' residency Unusual Suspects got in there to first to announce it's 2017 return, and it's the first to reveal its opening party line-up. This techno-decked fiesta lands on Thursday 11 May, and in for the big spin are tINI, Janina, Rick Maia, Eats Everything, Frank Storm, and Federico Grazzini.
Destino confirms opening party date
We'll be finding ourselves wowed by Destino's lush open space on Friday 2 June for the big opening. The line-up is still shrouded in secrecy, but going on previous seasons we're expecting a flawless selection of underground greats. Last year's opener had tech-house legend Luciano headlining, and joining him were Michel Cleis, Ernesto Ferreyra, Angioma, &Who, Javier Gonzalez, Javi Green and Romeo D'arret.
Disclosure drop news of DC10 residency
In 2015 we saw Disclosure bring their Wild Life event series to the island with a show at Dalt Vila, and this year we'll be grabbing more of the sibling duo as they've bagged their own residency at DC10. Titled Wild Life Ibiza, the four-date residency kicks off on Friday 21 July, and from there you can catch them on 28 July, and 4 and 11 August.
Hï Ibiza adds more acts to opening line-up
Hï Ibiza's first line-up announcement had our excitement ignited, and with another handful of artists added to the bill, we're raring to get through those doors. Those also set to appear on Sunday 28 May are Bedouin, Anna Tur, Igor Marijuan and Paul Reynolds.

Privilege throws opening date into the mix
Witnessing the world's biggest club burst into life is pretty damn special, and in 2017 we'll be doing it all again on Thursday 25 May. This season is the Privilege's 24th and it's set to be a big one for the club with it undergoing a thorough refit that´ll include a Funktion One sound system.
Circoloco's 2017 opening party line-up revealed
Monday 22 May is hurtling towards us, and on the first poster of the season is an ample pack of DC10 greats, including Tania Vulcano, Seth Troxler, Kerri Chandler, Ellen Allien, Dyed Soundorom, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, David Squillace, Jackmaster, Matthias Tanzmann, Sossa, Shonky, Clive Henry and Acid Mondays. Once again you´ll also be transported into the magical realm of Damian Lazarus, and elsewhere you´ll be at the mercy of Marcel Dettmann, The Black Madonna, Dubfire, DVS1, Adriatique, DJ Tennis and Petar Dundov, among more.
Eric Prydz joins Hï Ibiza as resident
A tagging frenzy took off on social media when news of Eric Prydz's residency dropped, securing it a spot as some of the biggest news of the season. Sweden's dance music chameleon will be heading for Ibiza this summer in what will be his first ever artist-led residency. We'll have him in our sights for ten whole weeks in 2017, and it all begins on June 20. At Hï Ibiza he'll be debuting a bespoke production that's specifically built for the residency, which will give him the freedom to deliver his inimitable blend of house and techno across his Pryda and Cirez D alter egos. Guests include Matthew Dear, Kölsch, Pig & Dan, Agoria, Catz 'N Dogz, Tube & Berger and Dusky, with more to be announced.
RESISTANCE announces eight-week takeover at Privilege
Here's more proof that this is going to be a game-changing year for the San Rafael superclub. From Tuesday 25 July Privilege brings on eight weeks of absolute techno madness with Sasha & John Digweed. Confirmed for the first six weeks, the British spinners promise to turn the largest club in the world into a techno fiesta of epic proportions.
Cream dishes out full season line-up
Earlier in the week we heard that Above & Beyond would be joining Paul Van Dyk and Fatboy Slim as residents, and just three days later the whole line-up was out. Other DJs in for a Cream session are Faithless, George Kwali, Sean Hughes, Dimitri Vegas & Like, Marshmello, Danny Howard, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila, Eddie Halliwell, Cosmic Gate, Vini Vici and Bryan Kearney, plus a very special set from Paul Oakenfold.
Hot Since 82 to host new residency at Pacha
Hot Since 82 completes Pacha's weekly schedule this year as he claims the Friday slot for his own residency. Labyrinth is going to transform the cherry-topped haunt into a “magical musical maze”, with us clubbers being encouraged to tear ourselves from reality. That shouldn't be too hard. Kicking off on Friday May 26, he'll run for 20 consecutive weeks through to the closing on Friday 6 October. His chosen line-up includes Maya Jane Coles, Eats Everything, Adam Beyer and David Morales.
Float Your Boat is ready for Pure Carl Cox
Who could be better placed to get you buzzing for Carl Cox´s Privilege takeovers than the main man himself? That's right, no one. Coxy is back taking the party out to the Med with the Float Your Boat crew, and that gives you an extra three hours with the techno chief. With only two dates this season on the 11 and 18 July, these parties are likely to sell out quickly. Get in there quick sharp.
The Redlight confirms third season at Sankeys
The Redlight is back with us this season for round three. Down in that basement you'll be blasted with house and garage, and the first titillating takedown is on Monday 19 June, with The Redlight good stuff rolling on until the closing in Monday 25 September. Line-ups in previous years have included DJ EZ, Matt Jam Lamont, Sonny Fodera, Sam Divine, Low Steppa, Todd Terry, Shadow Child and Todd Edwards.
