The BPM Festival to take on Brazil and Portugal in 2017

Whispers of global expansion now confirmed by BPM directors.

BPM Festival bosses dropped some big news yesterday with the announcement that 2017 will be its year for global expansion.

Brazil is the first to get in on the buzz with April 27-30 confirmed as the big dates, and it'll be co-hosted by the Warung Beach promoters. Secondly, it'll be kicking off in Portugal where they'll be taking it back to the basics with one day and one night event. On this occasion, BPM will team up with Metropolis - the organisers behind Hideout and Lost & Found Festival - and while September has been confirmed, no specific dates have been given.

We've already heard hints that the Mexican festival would evolve beyond its Playa del Carmen base, and we can imagine that dropping this news has given greater cause to celebrate the festival's might 10th anniversary.

You've got the best of the very best currently in paradise exercising house and techno's horsepower, and we've already heard from some very familiar names, including Hot Since 82, Steve Bug, Andrea Oliva, Marco Bailey, tINI, Marco Carola and Paco Osuna, among more.

Check out our highlights of what's on and don't forget you can catch up with the latest action being streamed live by BE-AT.TV.
