Exciting news for beat lovers who revel in taking the party atop the Mediterranean, as we've a one-off boat party event ready to set sail in September.
The Little Festival, a London-based events brand, are set to launch their hybrid of festivals and clubbing on a boldly decorated catamaran, for a bass heavy session of house and techno. Plastered with bunting, balloons, banners, inflatables and all the novelty party goods that bolster a boisterous bash, The Little Festival crew will set sail on Friday 9 September at 2.30 PM from Marina Botafoch in Ibiza Town with the brand's residents and guests. After six hours at sea with this good natured pack of humans, you'll be taken back to the port just in time for a sublime sea view sunset.
The Little Festival pride themselves on pushing a cutting edge music policy, with the team having just confirmed Mexican heavyweight, Hector, elrow resident Marc Maya and London-based Hungarian selector, Emery Warman, for their October event at London venue, The Steelyard. On the line-up for September's sonic surf are founders of the brand Alex Smith, Dan Gayle, OSMI and Jarmo. You may already be familiar with Alex Smith as he holds down a Sunday residency with Audiojack at Veto Social club and Dan Gayle was recently included in Carl Cox's roster at Space. Duo, Nik and Rodrigues, who head up The Little Festival record label will also be on duty, and chucked into the mix are regular Abode spinners, Lewis Jiminez and Jarmo, and August Five, who´s been on the island all summer with gigs at Zoo´s official boat party and Veto Social Club.
