Top 10 tracks from 10 Years Diynamic at DC-10

Diynamic dance floor dynamite.

Solomun has erected his own kingdom in the shape of Diynamic, and last night marked 10 years of the outsanding record label's success. And where better to celebrate such a mammoth milestone than at DC-10 - a club that's about the music and the people only. On the night, the label head was joined by loyal members of the Diynamic community including Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Johannes Brecht, who performed live, as well as the likes of Adriatique, H.O.S.H, Thyladomid, Magdalena, who divided their talents between DC-10's two rooms, and in the process created something unforgettable.

On the night, I was overpowered by musical epiphanies and utterly blown away by the music selection. Each DJ had rummaged through what appeared to be a lifetime's worth of rare material, and any raver who knows their music basked in a sea of new tunes. I walked away with at least 20 track IDs (as well as a face-aching grin); here are 10 of the best. Basically, Solomun bossed it.

Sebastian Mullaert / 'Windmaker' / Played by H.O.S.H

'Windmaker' blew heads off - it's a mesmerising track so hypnotic it could lure a cobra from its basket.

Sabb / 'One Of Us' feat. Forrest (Dennis Ferrer Remix) / Played by Solomun

This was featured in the triumphant final moments of Solomun's set, and will go down in (my) history as one of DC-10's greatest moments.

Henrik Schwarz / Âme / Dixon feat. Derrick L. Carter / Where We At (Version 1) / Played by Kollektiv Turmstrasse

A live set from Kollektiv Turmstrasse was bound to reveal beauties like this - an electrifying, alien-like track produced from a well-respected concotion of DJs from around the globe.

Le Dust Sucker / 'Mandate My Ass' / Played by Solomun

Another game changer from the DIynamic main man himself. It may have a questionable title but there were no questions asked when played - this tune added funk and sent the crowd into complete madness.

WhoMadeWho / 'Hi & Low' (Konstantantin Sibold Acid Mix) / Played by H.O.S.H

Aphex Twin's 'Digeridoo' sprung to mind when this was played in the main room. Around the time it was played on Saturday morning, energy levels could have been sinking, but this dived right into our pleasure cells and brought us back again.

Redshape / 'Tel Aviv' / Played by Adriatique

This Diynamic duo took over after Kollectiv Turmstrasse and played one of my all time favourites - 'Tel Aviv'.

The Smiths / 'How Soon Is Now (Maceo Plex Remix) /Played by Solomun

It brings me great pleasure to write the words 'The Smiths' in a feature - they're one of my all time favourite bands. You can only imagine my reaction whe Solomun dropped this towards 6.30 AM - tears were shed.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse / 'Ordinary' (Live Version) / Played by Kollektiv Turmstrasse

This was the track playing when I entered DC-10, and from that moment on I was assured the night ahead would be an Ibiza gem.

Danny Daze / 'Machine' / Played by Solomun

Solomun pulled this one right out of his exclusive bag of wonders, shoved it in our faces, and we lapped up every second of it.

Super Flu & Dortmunder Philharmonker / 'Volkwein' (Kollektiv Turmstrasse Remix) / Played by Kollektiv Turmstrasse

So not only can Turmstrasse play exceptionally live as well as produce like a god, but he can remix already classic tracks into something extra special. We're sold.
