UK's Electric Daisy Festival returns in 2016

All the biggest names in house, trance and bass.

Electric Daisy Festival (EDC) is heading to the Milton Keynes National Bowl this summer for another roaring gathering with more than 30 of the biggest names in house, electronic dance, trance and drum ‘n' bass.

Tipped to be one of the biggest dance music festivals in 2016, Avicii, Eric Prydz, Paul van Dyk, Pendulum, Sigma, Duke Dumont and DJ EZ are just some of the big acts headlining across its four stages. An exciting addition to EDC is the modified Crystal Village stage, which is set to make its debut in a multi-sensory experience with the four elements – earth, fire, water and air – leading the festival nation. Crafting the soundtrack against this stage's impressive display of cascading waterfalls, a fog-breathing dragon, statuesque owls, startling lighting fixtures, lasers and CO2 cannons, will be Eric Prydz showcasing his highly anticipated debut album Opus. Also appearing for the first time at EDC UK are Oliver Heldens, German producer, Robin Schulz, Electro house magnet, Martin Solveig, and 19-year-old electronic music prodigy, Martin Garrix.

The circuitGROUNDS stage, hosted by Bassrush, will witness some of the biggest names in bass and dubstep, with the likes of Noisia, Caspa and Rusko, Pendulum, Sigma, Roni Size, Goldie MBE and Roni Size & Krust. Dreamstate, Insomniac's premiere trance brand, will host the cosmicMEADOW stage with trance giant, Paul Van Dyk, wielding the sonic weaponry alongside an exclusive appearance from Gouryella, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Ilan Bluestone, Standerwick, Aly & Fila and John O'Callaghan. Representing garage and house is the Pepsi Max presents neonGARDEN Stage, with UK garage hero, DJ EZ, sharing the stage with Duke Dumont, Jauz, Galantis, Philip George, Lost Frequencies and 99 Souls.

Last summer, over 40,000 danceheads descended for an immersive session with Insomniac's innovative art installations, thrill-packed carnival rides and dazzling costumed performers. Now in its fourth year, EDC is on a mission to up the ante and show thousands of more clubbers what it's made of.

Save Saturday 9 July for your festival frolics this summer.
