Spring's on its way so it's time for London's clubbers to wake from their post-New Year's hibernation and get stuck into some serious partying. Fortunately the good people behind Bethnal Green's Oval Space, justly renowned for their forward-thinking line-ups, have put together a stonker this Saturday 20th February to get us excited about.
Topping the bill is electronic music chameleon Roman Flügel; the German has been in the game for more than twenty years and has an extensive back catalogue of recordings beloved by the most discerning of cratediggers. His sets dip into acid, Italo, techno and everything around and in between, no boundaries, just great selections.
There's strong support being offered too from Chicago-based The Black Madonna. 2015 was the year many started to pay attention to Marea Stamper, with a well-received Boiler Room set really putting her on the map, 2016 looks set to be where she continues her rise and rise.
Completing the lineup is Freundinnen label boss, nd_baumecker; A Berghain mainstay and with quarter of a century's worth of DJing experience under his belt, Andreas reliably brings the heat and will relish putting Oval Space's sound system through its paces.
