Sankeys Ibiza has released the first set of artists confirmed for their marathon Closing Party held this Tuesday 8th October. Dubbed 'Phase One' the Playa d'en Bossa club has announced a mix of serving season residents and island favourites to soundtrack its Guinness World Record attempt. Aiming to hold the world's largest Toga Party - in both event length and number of attendees - the club will be aiming to cement what has been a watershed season with a uniquely personal impression.
The chosen name for the day long party, 'XXIV - VENI, VIDI, VICI, 24 Hours of Roman Hedonism' certainly hints at the stoic self-belief and continuing enthusiasm we have come to expect from David Vincent (club owner) and his team. A returning DJ Sneak shares the top of the bill with a live set from Innervisions darlings Âme and orchestrator of the unpredictable - dancefloor chameleon Skream. Rising Ants ambassador and current Ibiza Best Newcomer nominee Andrea Oliva will be making his Sankey's debut and providing house support alongside favourite Miguel Campbell and Cadenza-flavoured German: Reboot.
VIVa Warriors kingpins Steve Lawler and Darrius Syrossian will each play two sets and feature alongside soulful Norwegian resident Finnebassen and Fuse regulars Seb Zito, Rossko and Julian Perez providing a solid showcase of this seasons Sankey's sound. Also confirmed are Hector Couto, Detlef, Antonio Piacquadio, Andy Baxter, BONES and Marino Canal.
Phase Two, the second stage of the party line-up, shall be released shortly and include the remaining 6 artists to be announced.
