It's that time again... Carl Cox is digging deep into his vinyl collection to share his love of soul and funk (and the many records which illustrate that) with Ibiza's dedicated music fans - you! All are welcome down to this free event at Sands Bar in Playa d'en Bossa, where Coxy will be playing an eclectic array of music to groove to, with not a laser in sight. The party kicks off from 2pm this Thursday the 26th of September and carries on well past sundown.
Cox is part-owner of the successful restaurant and beach bar, Sands, which has hosted some of the most true ibicenco style fiestas the island has to offer. Nothing quite beats dancing with sand between your toes and somehow funk and soul fits this sunny venture even better than our beloved house and techno. Every year this event proves itself to be a highlight of the entire summer, and a chance for friends and fans to see Cox in a very relaxed and casual environment. It may be sandwiched between major clubbing closing party events, but this funk and soul party is just what the body needs to reboot.
