One of the events we're most excited about with regard to the islands newest venue - Booom! - would be Circus. Thursday nights from 18th July until the closing on the 3rd October will see Liverpool homeboy Yousef bring his much loved and respected party to the island for the very first time.
Having spent several seasons as resident at Carl Cox's party on Tuesdays at Space Ibiza, along with guest slots at a wide variety of venues and parties across the island, it was about time Yousef headed up his own shindig, and as he celebrates 10 years at the forefront of electronic music - through Circus X - we can look forward to some cool lineups over the coming weeks.
The delayed opening of Booom! will see Yousef joined by Booka Shade, Monika Kruse and Doc Martin for the opening now, whilst other lineup highlights come thick and fast. These include Sasha for the second week of parties, Danny Tenaglia playing two dates (8th & 22nd August), long time DJ friend Laurent Garnier on the 26th September and the closing party with Yousef, Adam Beyer, Deetron and the DJ competition winner - some really great nights there.
As the club has only just opened, we can indeed report good things! We love the venue with it being the right size, a great soundsystem courtesy of Pioneer, cool lighting production and a good mix within the crowd. With even the man himself, Yousef, praising the club.
