Ants Invade Ushuaïa

Ushuaïa reveals the concept behind their lycra-clad PR team; all relieved it's not an S&M night.

You may have noticed that black ants have been popping up all over Ibiza lately, slightly larger than the size we're used to (maybe a thousand times?) and, in some cases, slightly more lycra. All questions are now answered regarding those mysterious billboards and promo videos – they were Ushuaïa's heads up about its first ever home-grown party, ANTS.

Every Saturday from the 1st of June the Ants colony will invade Ushuaïa Ibiza to celebrate all things underground (it's only fitting). Ushuaïa encourages you to pledge your allegiance to the colony and get involved – anyone who turns up wearing all black will receive a discount on their ticket throughout the summer. Black lycra onesies then, yeah?

Musically, Ushuaïa has recruited extremely well. Entertaining the colony throughout summer will be Nic Fanciulli, Timo Maas, Andrea Oliva, ONNO, Los Suruba, Reboot, Deetron, Joris Voorn, Radio Slave, Uner, George Fitzgerald, Lee Curtiss and Hot Since 82. Now that is a mighty collection of DJs.

This summer will eventually be the springboard for a global attack of Ants parties, but for now the only place to experience an original Ushuaïa production is right here in Ibiza. Tickets will be available soon from Spotlight, so you can say you first joined the colony on the White Isle itself.
