Each year, International Music Summit (IMS) pulls professionals from all corners of the music industry together to address the state of play. Amongst them, artists themselves will be joining the discussion as speakers.
After all, they are the pioneers who will be shaping the electronic music landscape for the next decade. Their unique insights are as interesting, as they are valuable.
Now we can reveal the first artist speakers appearing at Hyde & Mondrian complex between 23 and 25 April.
First up, accountant-turned-DJ and self-professed king of the after party, John Summit and his team will explain the methodology behind his meteoric rise.
Indira Paganotto (pictured above), who last year shared hosting duties with Joseph Capriati at Metamorfosi, lends her expertise to the Market focus: Spain panel.
Clockwise from top-left: Patrick Mason, Shimza, Chloé Caillet and John Summit
HUGEL puts the focus on his label and party series Make The Girls Dance, while Patrick Mason explores the relationship between music, dancing and mental wellbeing in association with The Art of ARETÉ wellness retreat.
Also contributing is Chloé Caillet, who'll be discussing curation in the industry. Shimza will be present, as a voice to represent his homeland as part of the Africa Is Not A Country topic.
Finally, DJ and broadcaster Charlie Tee wades into Four Decades of Jungle & D&B.
More speakers, talking-points and expert-led sessions will be announced in the coming weeks.
We certainly not going to have a shortage of things to talk when IMS returns to Cala Llonga.
Remember, that the line up for IMS Grand Finale and tickets dropped last week. You can pick up yours by heading here.
