Season preview | Monday night Worried About Henry at Eden

Ibiza's one true home of Drum & Bass music.

About Worried About Henry

Worried About Henry has a reputation for creating unforgettable dancefloor experiences for its crowd, throwing parties at some of the UK's best industrial spaces, including Mayfield Depot, Printworks and Royal Docklands, where it will host a festival in 2023.

Here on Ibiza, it continues to fly the flag for all things Drum & Bass related, testing the limits of Eden's souped-up sound system and providing a much-welcomed alternative to the norm.

Want to know more? We answer all your questions: when? where? who? why? and how?

When?

Every Monday night, starting 12 June to 25 September | 23:59 to 06:00

By Monday, we might be coming out of the weekend and into the working week, but that doesn't mean anything on Ibiza - just ask the noisemakers behind Worried About Henry. Monday nights are boisterous affairs.

Where?

Eden - the Dutch-owned, British and Irish-run nightclub in the centre of San Antonio and the home of the bass-fueled Void Incubus sound system. Eden's dancefloor is scooped out like a bowl, giving it a real D&B arena feel.

Who?

Chase & Status are the most combative force in D&B. Their huge RTRN II JUNGLE album campaign saw them going back to their roots after earlier dabbling with Dubstep, House and Breakbeat.

Whether it's been at Ibiza Rocks, Amnesia or now Eden, the duo have a long history on Ibiza. Never failing to rip up the dancefloor, they are proof the island is about so much more than linear 4/4 dance music played at 125 bpm.

Will and Saul will be taking turns throughout the summer to play the distinct Chase & Status sound and give each instalment a heady feel.

The acclaimed duo played such a huge part in WAH's predecessor, Louder, last summer. It's incredible to think they will play even more dates in 2023, becoming another great advert for clubbing in San Antonio.

Fans can expect sets riddled with their biggest hits and all the current music they're feeling - all played on Eden's body-shaking Void Incubus sound system.

Aside from the weekly headliners, there's no shortage of D&B heavyweights. This summer you can catch Andy C, Wilkinson and Sub Focus (all three appearances each), while Hybrid Minds have five dates including the opening and closing parties.

Not only will D&B fans feel well catered for, but with Chase & Status' widespread appeal, WAH has the potential to have a huge summer.

Strongest week?

You won't find any lacking, but the RAM Records flavoured date on 24 July with The Executioner Andy C and Harriet Jaxxon might just edge being our favourite. Alternatively, Dimension and Delta Heavy together on 4 September is also a spicy one.

Keep an eye on

goddard.'s wide-spanning sets have seen him being touted as one to watch from within the scene and outside of it. He plays the closing party on 25 September. We predict we're going out on a blast.

Any surprises?

Last summer, Louder threw a few free pop-up parties coined DnBBQ at No Bad Days Beach Bar on Playa Pinet (otherwise known as Reggae Beach). Here's hoping for a few more in 2023.
