From the halcyon days of big room trance in the noughties to the LSD-inspired scene of the hippies and twinkly downtempo electronica, Ibiza has always had a relationship with euphoric strains of electronic music.
Although the bpm may have slowed down over the years, this remains the case to this day. Hands in the air, eyes-closed melodic music that gives life-affirming moments on the dance floor. You know the type.
We've compiled a list of the best parties to forget your worries and float away with.
Afterlife | Hï | Thursdays | 27 June - 3 October
Masters of mood and tone, Tale Of Us have set pulses racing with their emotive Afterlife label and party series ever since it arrived on Ibiza.
Now entering its second year at Hï - and its fourth overall - Afterlife features soaring arpeggios and dramatic breakdowns.
Ethereal soundscapes are the result. As well as high-profile figures from within the industry, TOU have developed their own crop of in-house talent.
It all kicks off next week, 27 June. Maceo Plex, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and more join Karm and Matteo in a gate to the unknown.
RUMORS | Las Dalias | Sundays | 23 June - 26 August
Following three years of stability at Destino, Guy Gerber's RUMORS is once again on the move. In 2019, the nomadic party moves further north to its new location at hippie-stronghold Las Dalias. We can definitely see this new partnership being a hit.
Always attracting a wealthy and good-looking crowd, RUMORS biggest selling point has always been that admission is free but the soundtrack never compromised.
Whether it's Guy himself, or one of his hand-picked friends, you're guaranteed a hypnotic evening of music.
WooMooN | Cova Santa | Sundays | 23 June - 15 August
In some respects, it's a shame that RUMORS goes head-to-head on Sundays with another long-standing favourite in WooMooN. Again, this is favoured by an older clientele.
Combining music - often live - with striking visual art, theatrical performance and spirituality, it's the modern embodiment of Ibiza's 60s hippie past.
Cova Santa is the ideal location. Tucked away in the hillside of San Jose under lunar illumination, the venue's tiered layout gives plenty of production and content opportunities. Live by the sun, dance by the moon - we know to do that.
Spin-off party The Storytellers present Dancing Into Dreamland is also worth checking out.
Saga | HEART Ibiza | Sundays | 26 May - 29 September
Seems as though Sunday is the night of the week to get lost in the music! Another alternative is Bedouin's journeying adventures down in Marina Botafoch.
The DJ duo from New York with Arabic heritage has earned quite the reputation for their distinct sound.
HEART Ibiza is still off the radar for a lot of clubbers, so let us recommend Saga as the night to test the waters.
Underlining their clout, Bedouin invite heavyweight guests to join them in the intimate venue overlooking the harbour. Luciano, Jamie Jones and Adam Port all drop by.
All Day I Dream | Cova Santa | Thursdays | 5 July, 1 August & 20 September
Last summer All Day I Dream made a successful launch in Ibiza with a handful of takeovers at Blue Marlin. Despite being a welcome addition to the island, the pairing didn't quite fit.
Having made an impact and always keen to listen to its community, ADID makes a bold move to Cova Santa for 2019.
Thanks to some pretty epic sunrise sets, ADID has become synonymous with Burning Man festival and hold key events in LA, San Francisco, Miami and New York.
Few can argue that the outdoor setting at Cova Santa is ideal for the labels meandering 110-120bpm brand of deep house.
Residents Lee Burridge and YokoO will be on hand at each show, with support from friends. At the opening party, the guest was none other than Sébastien Léger.
Transmoderna | Pacha | Fridays | 24 May - 4 October
Like so many before him, Dixon expressed that he had no desire to ever hold an Ibiza residency. But the allure of the White Isle proved too strong.
After years of turning down offers, the right opportunity finally presented itself. Enter Transmoderna at Pacha on Fridays.
Featuring a strong visual identity and, naturally, a lot of influence from Dixon's Innervisions label, Transmoderna fuses fashion with impeccable underground music.
Solomun +1 | Pacha | Sundays | 26 May - 13 October
Under the same roof, but quite a bit more established is Dixon's good friend and frequent collaborator Solomun. Now in its seventh year, who can work the room better?
Mixing melodic breakdowns with hearty stompers, Mladen has the venue eating out of his hands - an electric atmosphere guaranteed.
Keen to stamp his authority as the King of Pacha, Solomun has drawn on his most impressive support cast yet.
Maceo Plex, DJ Tennis, Tale Of Us and Boys Noize alias Elax are among his revered +1 class of 2019. Who can topple the reigning monarch? No one, we'd wager.

Do Not Sit & MUSE | HEART Ibiza | select Tuesdays | Various dates (see calendar)
Last summer, Behrouz exported his Do Not Sit On the Furniture party series to the shores of Ibiza. This year he's back, albeit on a less frequent basis. The fact we only get four opportunities to party with the guru this summer makes the residency all the more special.
Littering the venue with spiritual motifs, the soundtrack of the night depicts an epic voyage across desolate landscapes.
Behrouz shares the Tuesday slot with three other promoters, one of which is MUSE. Led by Diynamic pair Lehar & Musumeci, the two entities complement one another well. Expect more dreamy goodness.
