Hot new tracks for November 2018

Ease into the low-season with these latest releases from October.

We know, we know - the summer is behind us and the vast majority of us are back home working, the holidays turning into a distant memory. Fortunately, music always manages to cheer us up. We have some hot new releases to help get you out of that funk and into what's new on the dance floor.

Now that the season is officially and unofficially over, the rest of the Ibiza Spotlight clubbing team is off the island but not without leaving their top release picks for the final month of their Ibiza season. Check out some of their final selections for the newest music from this past month. Enjoy.

Meditation Tunnel | Fire Fly (Red Axes remix) | Life And Death | 5 October

Under his Meditation Tunnel alias, Luke Jenner drops this gem from his EP Glittering Jewel. The reinterpretation of Fire Fly by Red Axes takes the original to a whole new level by keeping only the essential. It's dreamy alright. Thank you, Kane.

Adam Port | Planet 9 | Diynamic | 8 October

Another selection by Kane, Planet 9 is one of those melodic house and techno treasures that ingrain themselves in your mind with that guitar and bass by Lukas Kay. After lying dormant for quite some time, Adam Port sent it in response to Solomun's search of unreleased music for the Grand Theft Auto V video game. It became the title track of Adam's debut EP on Diynamic.

Guy Gerber | What To Do (&ME Remix) | Rumors | 26 October

We were all over the original when it was released back in March as it stole our hearts right from the start. The remix by &ME breathes more life into it. In Steve's words, "&Me - and indeed the wider Keinemusik collective - have provided Ibiza 2018 with some of its most memorable productions. From DC10 to Hi, Sankeys to Destino, they soundtracked the summer. &Me's remix of Guy's hypnotic track breathed fresh life into it during the second half of the season."

Saytek | Last Night | Awesome Soundwave | 26 October

Also from Steve - "One from Coxy's and Christopher Coe's brand new label Awesome Soundwaves - a home exclusive for live electronic music performers. This cut was getting love from the big man as far back as RESISTANCE's closing party, where it absolutely tore the main room a new one. Any production with Cox's coated seal of approval needs no further justification - but it gets ours anyway!"

Accelerator | CamelPhat & Solardo | Sola | 19 October

From Holly we have this collaboration between Solardo and Camelphat. After their residencies on Ibiza this summer, this partnership was to be expected. Dropped on Solardo's label Sola, the club-ready Accelerator marks the 50th release of the label.

Redlight | Get Wavey | Lobster Boy (2) | 21 September

Brought to us by Michael, Get Wavey adds a touch of vibrant house to our selections for this month. Released at the end of September, it is the first single from Redlight's album Active which dropped at the end of October.

Adriatique | Nude | Afterlife | 26 October

From their debut album on Afterlife Recordings, the title track Nude - much like the rest of the album - presents another side of Adriatique. The two Adrians bring in some of their spunkiest work yet in a personal artistic statement. The Swiss duo has been going from strength to strength. Check them out in this recent interview here.

Ruede Hagelstein | Forward Vision | Watergate Records | 15 October

Building on a brooding minimal groove, the atmospheric Forward Vision delivers some insane club moments. Ruede Hagelstein returns with his brand new EP Microdosing on Watergate Recordings showing his consistently growing skills with these sophisticated dance floor gems.

Icarus | Echoes | FFRR | 3 October

Bristol's Icarus release their brand new track Echoes on Pete Tong's imprint FFRR. Forward-thinking and genre-twisting, the house duo bring us this classic progressive instrumental house track that is both evocative and sonically captivating.

Enzo Siragusa & Martin Buttrich | Apache | FUSE London | 5 October

The vinyl-only Apache is part of the much awaited EP Three Squared, a collaboration between Enzo Siragusa and Martin Buttrich. Dark and enveloping, the track kicks off with a snarling bass line and enthrals with its simplicity and groove.
