RUMORS brings on season line-ups at Destino

Guy Gerber's free Sunday soiree brings big names to the outdoor resort once again.

Guy Gerber's RUMORS returns to Sundays for its fifth season on the island. After a spell at Beachouse, the past two years have taken place at Destino. Now settled, the party returns to the Pacha-owned resort in Cap Martinet in 2018.

Gerber is joined by Cadenza regular Cesar Merveille at the opening party on 20 May. Then the following week Bas Ibellini is Guy's right-hand man.

Bedouin turn up on two occasions: 24 June where they stand-in for our host and 26 August. On their first date, they are joined by LA jet-setter Lauren Lane. She also returns later in the season on 5 August.

Picking out some heavyweight support acts, acid innovator Josh Wink flies in on 3 June. A month later on 1 July, Dubfire has the honour of joining Guy.

Detroit house mainstay Delano Smith plays on 10 June, while legendary NY DJ Danny Tenaglia is the guest on 19 August.

Cassy's date is 17 June while Canadian duo Blond:ish will be present on 9 September.

On 8 July a couple of island favourites drop in as guests. D'Julz and Audiofly both support Guy.

Behrouz's date is 23 September, alongside Guy and Crew Love's No Regular Play live. Lo-fi house maverick DJ Seinfeld is the guest on 12 August.

Felix Da Housecat will play an exclusive disco set when he guests on 2 September.

Bill Patrick is involved on three dates – 3 June, 5 August and the closing party on 30 September. Guy and Bill will be joined by Life & Death boss DJ Tennis to close out the season.

dOP live, Martin Buttrich, Shaun Reeves, Kenny Glasgow, Randall M, Kaz James and Tobi Neumann are other names that make appearances across the summer.

Guy Gerber is present most weeks, apart from 24 June and 2 September. The latter is currently listed as being headlined by an unconfirmed Special Guest.

Although we can only speculate at this time, last season both Sven Väth and Nic Fanciulli stood in for Guy on separate occasions. Could it be either of them or another big name? Stay tuned for updates.

All-in-all it's shaping up to be another fine season for RUMORS at Destino. Of course, one big selling point is that the party invites huge names but remains free admission. We're in!
