Ibiza parties around the world

Find out where you can have a taste of Ibiza and some of its greatest parties this winter.

As anyone who has partied on Ibiza can tell you, the parties here have a magic all their own. While the island lives on and even thrives during the winter, it does so at a slower pace, at least in terms of superclubs. Meanwhile, the parties that liven it up during the summer spread their allure around the planet.

Many of these fiestas have Ibiza as their spiritual home and sometimes actual birthplace. Others are so popular that they obviously have to hold a residency here on the party island during the summer. Others still are inspired by the White Isle.

We cannot say for sure whether it is in the DNA of the island or a product of its recent history. What is certain is that almost everyone who experiences the White Isle leaves with exceptional memories of an unforgettable time.

Whatever the case, here is where Ibiza parties are headed through the winter until the mothership calls them home. Check out below to see if any visit a venue near you or are worth chasing, that is, of course, until the Ibiza season starts again.

ANTS

In the five years since its inception, the homemade party ANTS has spread the colony worldwide, capturing the imagination of clubbers globally. Hailing "Music is the ANTSwer!" as the mantra that will save us and the queen, the party goes on tour again this winter. The colony will be stopping by Bologna in Italy on 24 November, Madrid, Spain, on 2 December, London on NYE and Mayrhofen, Austria from 9 to 14 April. Head here for more details and tickets for ANTS on Tour.

Circoloco

Circoloco is no doubt one of the most popular and unrestrained parties on Ibiza. Renowned for the quality and primacy of its underground electronic music, any of its events warrants a musical journey that will blow your mind. If you are in the Emirates this week, you can catch their showcase on 24 November at Blue Marlin UAE in Dubai. In December, the loony clown returns to Europe: Bologna on 9 December and Barcelona on 10 December. Of course, the party is back home on Ibiza for their (in)famous New Year's Day party on 1 January. More details and tickets here.

elrow

One of the most in-demand parties on Ibiza this past summer was unquestionably elrow. While it was not born on the island, the unique party gained its now global fame here on Ibiza. With its explosion of kaleidoscopic production, it skyrocketed to worldwide sway. On 25 November Rowgelia will land simultaneously in Eindhoven, Netherlands, and in the US in New York. On 1 December it heads on over to Dubai, followed by Sāo Paulo in Brazil on 2 December, Barcelona on 3 December and Jakarta on 15 December. For New Year's celebrations, elrow will be in Bristol, UK, on 31 December and 1 January, as well as in Madrid. The following week on 6 January the party heads to Punta del Este in Uruguay, then on to Australia on 13 and 20 January and Rotterdam on 17 February. Head here or here for tickets and full details.

FUSE

In the past nine years, FUSE has become somewhat of a Sunday clubbing institution in London, adding an Ibiza residency at Amnesia during the summer season. Last month Enzo Siragusa sold out Village Underground on his own for an all night long while this past week the brand celebrated its ninth birthday. FUSE returns to Village Underground in London on 10 December for FUSE Xmas. The next date for London favourite is a two-part event on New Year's Day. The line-up for part 1 during the day includes tINI, Enzo Siragusa, East End Dubs and Rich NxT while part 2 remains TBA. HYTE

Four years of events and three years at Amnesia Ibiza have firmly placed HYTE on the world map. The world-renowned event is hosting a 24-hour non-stop warehouse rave on New Year's Eve in Berlin. The party will see some of the electronic music's finest talent including Ricardo Villalobos, Nina Kraviz, Tale Of Us, Enzo Siragusa, Bjarki and more. After another successful Ibiza season at DC10, the six-year-old Ibiza-born party provides the ultimate hedonistic experience. Head here for full details although tickets have already sold out.

Pete Tong Presents Ibiza Classics

One of the most successful events of last summer on Ibiza was undoubtedly Pete Tong Ibiza Classics performed by the Heritage Orchestra at Destino this past August. While the event emerged in England, it was inspired by Ibiza. After taking the UK by storm and resonating worldwide, Pete Tong brought his Ibiza Classics home this summer and then on to Los Angeles earlier this month. Conducted by Jules Buckley, the 60-piece orchestra offers a unique take on house music and returns to England in December with five dates. The event has dates in Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester and London between 12 and 16 December. While the new album Ibiza Classics will be released on 1 December, catch the show live if you have a chance. Pukka Up

One of the biggest boat parties on Ibiza, Pukka Up also took over land this past summer with Pukka Up Tropical Wonderland. Both concepts head abroad once again this winter. The original boat party has already spread over twenty countries this year and will now be heading to Amsterdam on 25 November for a boat party through the picturesque Dutch canals and onto Panama for Bongos Bingo and the after-party. On New Year's Eve, the party returns to its roots for the NYE boat party on the Thames in London with an especially sparkling NYE Glitterball theme and five hours of nonstop house music. Also on NYE at a secret location in Shoreditch, the Tropical Wonderland will completely transform the two rooms of the venue into an oasis and a jungle. You can get tickets for the Amsterdam event here, for the NYE Thames Boat Party in London event here and for the Tropical Wonderland NYE in Shoreditch, London here

The revelation Ibiza party RUMORS born in 2014 on Ibiza also continues to cross borders. Emerging from Playa d'en Bossa's Beachhouse before taking over Destino last summer, the popular party once again will be heading over to ART BASEL in Miami on 8 December. Guy Gerber has also just announced RUMORS London 2018 in London on 27 January.
