Wellness and magic at the Ibiza Spirit Festival

Ibiza now means renewal and wellness, spearheaded by the Ibiza Spirit Festival in the 2017 autumn edition.

As the summer season draws to a close, Ibiza becomes a magnet for all things wellness. For many, this is heralded by the autumn edition of the twice-yearly Ibiza Spirit Festival, this year taking place on 1 October 2017.

As usual, the venue for this spiritual showcase will be the sublime Atzaro, the beautifully-designed agroturismo in the north of the island with music through the day to keep up spirits even more.

The event starts from 11:00 finishing with the Fantastic Dance Party to bring things to a close from 20:00 till late.

This October event's programme is as full as ever with over 50 different events spanning all kinds of spiritual and wellness disciplines.

Dip into seven different yoga styles from Hatha to Kundalini or relax in one of the chill out sessions, bringing you meditations, a 'Hula Hoop Jam' or a ‘wataflow' massage.

One of the event's key highlights will be a talk from Gopi Kallayil, Chief Evangelist for Brand Marketing at Google and whom has been responsible for bringing yoga and meditation into the Silicon Valley company's workplace.

His talk, based on his best-selling book, ‘The Internet to Inner-Net', will guide you on how to access and use your inner and outer technologies, namely the combination of brain, body and consciousness via a set of daily rituals.

The many informative workshops are ideal for those looking for or exploring further alternative ways of living and personal transformation.

Look out for the healing Sacred Singing Circle, a regular and much loved part of the festival or you could try a workshop on self-hypnosis or take a new kind of self journey in the Living with Purpose session.

As well as all this, you will find a children's garden with workshops and entertainment for kids as well as an artisan market, selling lots of natural products for health and beauty.

Entrance is by donation of €10 per person, with all proceeds going to local charity APNEEF for its work with special needs' children.

The full programme can be found here, so go and explore and work out how you can best enjoy this great alternative lifestyle extravaganza.
