Run by Hiking Ibiza founder Lucien Lecarme, this Hiking, Yoga and Mindfulness retreat is a yoga retreat with a difference. As well as the yoga sessions which take place in front of the magical island of Es Vedrà, you will join five hikes including one sunrise hike.

This time of year, the countryside is covered in wildflowers giving a beautiful setting for the silent walks and mindfulness sessions. You will also be here to experience the full moon shining bright above Ibiza's wide, clear skies.

In the setting of a former monastery you will stay in your own clean and simple en-suite room. Sometimes the nights can be a little chilly at this time of year so you will be glad of the central heating that will keep you cosy after a day's exertion.

This retreat gives sustenance to your body and your mind with the combination of exercise, yoga and meditation in a relaxing location which will allow you to think clearly and focus on what is important in life.

Breathe Ibiza Retreat

Dates: 17-22 September 2017

The Breathe Ibiza retreat is led by the highly experienced and sought after teacher Rachel Wake. You will start the day with an invigorating session of Vinyasa Flow Yoga which takes you through asanas, incorporating chanting, meditation and relaxation.

Afternoons are left free for you to enjoy the island, discover the nearby beaches or relax by the pool. There is also the option of taking a massage or other treatment. The evening sessions on the terrace are a calming blend of pilates, yin and meditation.

Afterwards you will enjoy a tasty vegan meal, lots of laughter and even wine. Just because it's yoga doesn't mean you can't enjoy a glass or two with new friends. Expect to be joined by the super-cute Roni Yogi dog who will be available for canine cuddle therapy.

The retreat takes place in a lovely villa close to the pretty bay of Cala Vadella with views of the famous Ibizan sunsets. There is a great tapas bar that you can wander to for lunch and a supermarket nearby too.

Yoga Wanders

Dates: 26-30 May 2017

Yoga Wanders offers Vinyasa Flow yoga sessions with the skillful and compassionate Anna McColl who runs this retreat. This type of yoga will leave you feeling challenged and refreshed in equal measures. With her calm encouragement and gentle coaxing, your body will achieve things that you didn't think were possible.

Each morning Anna will lead you in your practice helping you to develop a greater knowledge of the strength of your physicality. There are also three evening activities which will include workshops, meditation and the art of pranayama which teaches you breath control.

Taking place in a sweet finca in the countryside known as The Lotus Pad, you can stay in traditional accommodation or even Lakshmi the Caravan. By the evening you will be ready for the delicious locally-sourced vegetarian meals and you have the option to walk out to one of the local cafés too.

The retreat will leave you with plenty of time to explore the island and additional activities can be arranged such as a kayak excursion that will allow you to take to the turquoise sea and discover the secret beaches and caves around the coast.
