This Friday and Saturday (21-22 October) the tenth annual Tapaví tapas and wine festival in Santa Eulalia comes to town, with the gastro feast celebrating restaurants that open all year round. All the action takes place in Calle Sant Vicent and Calle Isidor Macabich across 16 different restaurants between 20 h and 24 h on both days.
Each year the festival continues to attract more people with 4,000 served last year and this year's event is expected to top that. Tapaví is aimed at promoting those restaurants that remain open in the quieter winter season and offers tapas in many varieties from traditional Ibizan style as well as Italian, Asian, and South American ones.
Each restaurant will be offering a selection of tapas and all you need do is purchase a ticket for €12 entitling each holder to seven tapas, drinks or desserts - you choose which, dependent on your hunger or thirst. There will also be live musical entertainment through both evenings with tango from Ignacio Cavalieri as well as music from Jahbles and the Lion of Zion.
Restaurants taking part this year are Can Cosmi, Can Xarc, Hamburgers Lina, Rincón de Pepe, Royalty, Ca na Ribes, Sa Carbonería, El Bacaro, La Guasa, Bluefish, King Kebab, Lola Bistrot from Paris with Love, Red Tomato , Rincon Latino, Il Gelato Artisano and Asian Road.
Get ready to hit Santa Eulalia this Friday and Saturday for a winning tapas feast.
Note: Because of heavy rainfall on the first day of this event, it will now be extended to Sunday, 23 October 2016 with an earlier start time of 12 h.
