The Ibiza Spirit Festival is back for the fourth year on Sunday 2 October 2016, when this must-visit event brings a day of inspiration for all and celebrates the special energy of the island. As usual, Atzaro, the sumptuous agroturismo, will be hosting the event in its finely manicured gardens, replete with its temples, water features and Eastern deities - the perfect setting for this magical day out for the whole family.
You are invited to open your hearts and minds to new ways of thinking and being, right from the opening ceremony at 11.30m through to the post-sunset Ecstatic Dance Party with DJ Kareem Raïhani. The entrance donation is just €10, which entitles you to open access to all the activities, apart from therapists and “readers” who request a small additional fee.
Throughout the day there are bags of exciting holistic things to get involved in with meditations and workshops, such as “Foods to boost moods”, for nutritional health as well as ones on finding your inner wisdom or for aligning with your true self. You will encounter different forms of yoga, creative dance and tantra sessions, female empowerment workshops and many alternative therapies.
There will be some great music throughout the day, delicious food on offer and for the kids there is a children's garden next to the entrance. Little ones can enjoy face painting, puppet shows, arts and crafts, games and even yoga for kids in a fun and creative environment.
The Ibiza Spirit Festival is organised by Jerry and Sabina Brownstein and David Moss. Their vision to: “Create a day of joyous celebration that shows us how beautiful life can be; how together we can generate the energy for positive transformation in ourselves and in the world.”
All the proceeds of the event go on supporting the event and charities on the island; this year the Ibiza Spirit Festival will be helping local charity APNEEF in relation to the excellent work it does with special needs children.
A healing event that's ideal for everyone - make sure you get on over for this special event. For more details, check out the event's Facebook page.
