Mint Lounge opens it doors officially for on 17 March in time for Saint Patrick's day, in celebration of Ireland's national saint. Located on the famous Sunset Strip in San Antonio, this opening is the first of the restaurants and bars there and is one of the first signs that the summer season is on its way.
The opening party starts at 12 in the afternoon, going on till late and features DJs Jason Bye, Lekno, Dermot C and Dr Feelgood. Mint Lounge will also be taking us into the summer with sunset sessions every evening up until the official opening of sister venue Café Mambo next door mid May a couple of months later.
With such a high TripAdvisor rating for its food and ambience, you'll be glad you wound up here for the day. The food style is Italian and the restaurant is famous for its pizzas and sizeable mains. There's a weekly changing €13.50 menu del día fixed-price menu served daily between 12pm-5pm with details in each week's selection online on the venue's Facebook page. The kitchen will be open till 10pm to start with a later closing during the summer.
As we head into summer, Mint Lounge's return welcomes you back to the Strip to eat, listen to great music and sit in the covered terrace outside watching people pass by or taking in one of the spectacular sunsets of San Antonio Bay. As well as food, customers have a great selection of classic cocktails and an extensive set of gin and tonic variations with things like orange peel and pink peppercorns as well as a great wine list.
