It always makes year-round residents smile. The idea that Ibiza just vanishes the moment Closing Week for the Super Clubs comes to an end. With just four short weeks to this amazing finale, Ibiza is quietly getting ready behind the scenes to change gear.
One of the most frequent questions we get at this time is 'Is there anything to do on Ibiza in the Winter?'
Gosh, yes! There are still hotels open, still fabulous restaurants to be enjoyed - with almost 150,000 residents, we like to eat out, especially in the winter and the island caters to that, beautifully. Sure, the beaches aren't lined with recuperating clubbers but another type of holiday-maker arrives.
It's time for kayaking around the entire coast of the island, time to mountain bike through the spectacular valleys, time to take moonlit walks beneath the almond blossom, time on occasions, rare as they are, to sit in an Ibicenco bar before a roaring fire and chat with friends as you sample Hierbas...
Winter in Ibiza is a joy, an adrenalin ride of another kind - one not so much of music but of surfing and horse-riding, of cycling before truly relaxing, with that blissful smile because little more than a cardigan is needed for most of the months.
Still, there's four glorious weeks to go yet and true to form, we've got some stunners to keep you occupied and enjoying the best of Ibiza Summer Season 2013.
Things To Do
Ibiza is home to some of the finest holistic therapists in the World. Not to mention providing the perfect environment to relax, unwind and indulge in some much deserved 'me' time. Combine these two elements with one of Paris' most sublimely skilled massage professionals and voila! Lily's Massage is our perfect prescription for pampering yourself!

Restaurant of the Week
We'd been hearing whispers from the 'in' crowd about the fabulous onsite restaurant at Boutique Hostal Salinas for quite some time. We went, we ate and we almost fell off our chairs with amazement!
Villa of the Week
Villa Casa Alfredo a fully equipped 4-bedroom villa with fantastic sea views situated within walking distance of the small resort Cala Vadella and many good local restaurants. The charming village of San José with restaurants, shops & banks is 8 km and the historic Ibiza Town only 23 km away.
Last Minute Offer September - before 460 euros, now only 414 euros per night.
Note: This villa is not suitable for families with small children and elderly people.
Fashion Tip of the Week
Ibiza said a farewell to Superstar DJ (not a typo) Paris Hilton last week. Leaving the island reportedly with 20 x suitcases full off designer clothes. Here at Ibiza Spotlight, we are certain Paris would have stocked up on all the incredible Ibiza style fashion to rock back in LA. With a wealth of incredible designers based here, there is no need to buy before you fly. Head to Deseo, my favourite beach boutique on magical Benirras. Glorious silk kaftans, sexy jumpsuits, embellished dresses, handbags to lust over and artisan jewellery. All inspired by owner and designer, Lottes' Travels.

Clubbing
I can't believe it's actually September! On one hand I'm glad about it as things start to get a bit more relaxed again now, but on the other hand it also means there isn't a lot left of the clubbing season. 5 weeks to be exact. For the clubbing team it's a great period to take things a bit easier, but only for a for a week or two, because soon the closing party period starts and this means end-on-end parties for almost two weeks straight. But I'll tell you more about the closings soon.
Of course this week also has some clubbing highlights. Today Thursday, Jamie Jones joins Loco Dice at his Used & Abused event at Ushuaïa while DJ Sneak is gracing the decks on the Lost in Ibiza boat party; decisions, decisions...
On Sunday, I'd either go to see Dennis Ferrer joining Solomun at Pacha or head off to Sankeys for VIVa Warriors, this week with Todd Terry as well as main man Steve Lawler. And Monday holds one of the best Cocoon line ups of the year in my opinion, Marcel Dettmann teams up with Sven Väth in the Main Room and the Terrace is even better with Dixon, a live performance of Âme and Loco Dice. Join us front centre of the Terrace for a boogie if you're up for it, we'll be there!
